A Time to Mourn

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

Losing a loved one is always hard, no matter the circumstances or the relationship.

Sometimes there’s nothing more to be done than to be silent and allow this time of mourning and sorrow.

So today, this post is just a simple reminder to rest in Him.

RIP Johnny

  1. One of my favorite passages. Thank you for this simple, meaningful message. I am still sad about my friend Jon who passed away a few weeks ago. RIP Jon.
